Title: 1197 Crashing update #2

Hi All,
As some of you know my new 1197 in April was crashing badly right out of the box. Details can be found elsewhere here. H-Bird replaced it quickly with a re-furb which I took only because I was leaving for vacation and couldn't do what I needed to do without it. The re-furb too was riddled with problems right out of the box but not the shut-down issues I had with the 1st/new one. This time, frozen, non-responsive buttons and more.

I sent the re-furb back to H-Bird when they said they could have a new one to me by last Friday. Sure enough a new one arrived on Friday just in time for the weekend and so far is working like a champ. No issues with this one at all.

That is good to hear. I getting ready to buy a new 1197c unit and it will be my
first Hummingbird product.
