Title: Picture Resolution
Post by: Gaspergoo on June 12, 2013, 07:46:43 PM
I have a question about picture resolution on some units, don't get me wrong I am very happy with the units I have, 998c HD SI and 958c HD DI. The SI unit is on the dash and the DI unit on the TM. The last couple of pictures I have taken though are quite different. If I do a screen capture/picture on the SI unit it is clear, precise, very easy to see what the image is. in turn if I do the same thing on the DI unit, it is not as sharp, looks pixelized. Since I am in the printing industry I will say its compares to 150dpi vs 72dpi, if that makes any sense to you guys. Now is there a setting that I may have changed and not known it, better yet what would be the correct setting for getting an HD image off the DI unit

Thanks for your time

What software revisions are you running?

Sorry I don't know, they are at the lake, I did buy them in Jan of this year, I believe there is a update 6.680? which I was told that it was primarily for 360 imaging and I did not need it, so there has been no s/w update done at all

Confirm the software version you are running.
List the menu settings you are using on your 958c HD DI unit and post the screen snapshots you made.  This will help those here make menu change suggestions.
