Displaying track on 998
« on: September 22, 2010, 10:56:39 PM »
Is there a way on the 998 to not have the track displayed as I'm running around on the lake? Unless I keep deleting the current track the screen gets filled with numerous lines showing my travels. I'd like to be able to travel the lake and not have the breadcrumb displayed unless I set the system to do so for one that I intend to save. Thanks.

BTW:  I spent most of last week on Lake Guntersville fishing with " SI Master Instructor" Wayne P.  I learned more about using my 998 and 798 in that period than I would have on my own in six months.   ;D

Although this has been suggested as a software update: there is currently no way to turn the trackplot trail off.
