997 or 797 transducers here

can someone tell me which transducer would be for the 997, my 2d is not working when i take off and get on plane. trying to figure out if it is going out, not glued properly or what. i am aggravated with the whole situation.

Do you have a Y cable?  None of those are the typical SI transducer for a 997 or 797.

Can you trace the wires?

It looks like your transducer is next to the pump n the right. Cant tell for sure, you need to trace the wire like Robert suggested. Did you install this or did someone else?

Does your boat have an in-dash flasher? If so you might not be using a through the hull trtansducer.

your right, i havent thought of my zercom flasher transducer. maybe my 997 and 797 share the same 2d high speed transducer, and the other is for the in dash flasher. it is impossible to trace the wires, they are sll tied up and go every which way you could imagine. i just dont know aht to do.

can you disconnect cables at the unit to see which cables show what on a display.  if you disconnect something should go blank.  chuck
