Title: SI images from Perris, CA
Post by: reefmo on May 01, 2014, 11:10:50 AM
I just got a 899si... first entry into the world of side imaging... or actual high end sonar.

Maybe some help with identifying what I am looking at?

i am pretty sure that the "pock marks" or small circles are fishbeds made out of freshwater clam shells
Not so sure on the rest of the images.

I wish they were there... every spot like that came up empty... hopefully soon!

Oldie but goodie!
Have you notice you catch different types of bream on each of those beds???
Since they were all in different depths seems it would be different species on each one or are the scans are from different lakes where the water clarity was different???
