Question: do these horizontal lines show up when viewed on the unit or is this only when viewed with the DeepView software?

I think the lines are difficult to see. If this is your main interference problem, I think you are lucky. My images usually show a lot of various sorts of defects, most of them are interference caused by the engine. Did you use the towfish and the long cable at this occasion?

hi every body
in this sequence i use towfish , 60 meter of cable .
there is only 6 m over the boat and the rest in large   buckle on a aluminium boat.
i don't see the interference on the 898, the sreen is smaller than the 1197. i just remark them on deepview. i havent see this small line before
may be electric or eletromagnétic ?

It may be from using the HBSI converter.  I use a filter in the program to clear up the center water column and that may be what you are seeing in your images.

I can eleiminate it, but there is a lot of clutter.

yes in deepview this lines come when i use "Color mapping wizard"
