Hi, i a 998 french owner.
I am leave and using my 998 in the carribéen and in guadeloupe more precisely.
I was very surprised when i compare garmin chart details to my navionics chart.
Where there is nothing shown on my chart, garmin show generaly mounts underwater near the coast.
I am spearfishing and differently to the side and down imagine with are an advantage, it s inprotant to go and surch near those mounts that are missing on my chart.I rreally miss lots of interresting thing for fishing.
I want to know if there is spécial detail chartmade for humminbird and for guadeloupe.The sounding line are better and less large to.
Humminbird is so close of technologie that i don t understand, why there is so a lake.
Every body here use garmin just for the detailed chart.You loose a lot of customers here because of that even if the iland is small.
Tell me if such a detailed chart exist for humminbird and the details of it.I am not interrested in 3 d because it wouldn t give me more detail.
Should i order a less technological and expenssive garmin unit to optimise my fish??????????????
Thank for your answer, in case of no chart is humminbird working and would commercialise such a detail chart?

Humminbird is not in the chart making business. Other companies makes chart mapping cards that are usable in our products. Of these Navionics would be the only one who makes mapping cards for outside the United States. I would check their web site and make a request that they have a map card available in the future for the area(s) you want if they do not have one now.

Pelican, check this site for postings on drdepth and several others as they are now building map making abilities to create custom maps.
Search the site with the tab at the top.
Check recent postings as you may find some near the top.
Also when viewing a post you can check at the bottom for similiar or related posts..
