No.
You can use a non-SI ONIX unit with an Si transducer but to do so you would need to either connect to the SI transducer through an Ethernet connection to an SI ONIX unit or use one of the Sonar Modules (SM2000, SM3000).

[EDIT: incorrectly listed SM1000 module.]

Thanks Greg. I saw an onix ci for a great price, but I have to have si. I guess you could use a 360 for si?

Yes you can.  the 360 is Si sonar that rotates or can be "parked" and used as an Si (only) transducer.

Greg, if I get the sm2000, what else will I need? I assume an si transducer. I also have a 360 and Ipilot link. Will I need an ethernet hub?
Or would I be better off selling the 10ci and buying the 10ci si? thanks Paul

Greg, would the sm1000 work? The ports list a 2d transducer, but not the si. Thanks Paul

No, the SM1000 is for 2D sonar only.  For the Si sonar you would need to go up to the SM2000 (or SM3000).
Let me fix my prior post...

Thanks Greg. Is there any advantage in using the 10ci si vs the 10ci with sm2000 and si ducer?

Well there is what Bob B said.  ;D

Except for overall cost; I don't know that there is any advantage with either as a stand alone device.  With other devices there may be but I don't know of anything right now.
