Well, with our little spam fest the other day, I figure we will have to limit registration and tighten down a little more. In order to register for the forum, you will need to be approved by an Administrator. We have been pretty fortunate over the last couple years but it seems they have found a way around the Spam Blocker.
I know it may be an inconvenience for new users wishing to get on the forum, but we will try to get approvals done as soon as they come in.
NEW MEMEBERS, PLEASE FILL OUT ALL OF THE REQUESTED INFORMATION (AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE) OR YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE REJECTED!
Thanks for your patience.

Something to help with the approval process is the profile you fill out. Please, when asked about the forum or recommending the forum to new members to ask them to help us in determining the applicability of the registration and have them fill out as much as they can. It is helpful if they list a unit or two, location and interest.
While this makes the registration a bit more entry sensitive, in the long run we may be able to get the spammers out of our life..

I cannot stress enough how important it is for new registering members to fill out as much information on the registration page as possible! I hate having to reject potential members but I also want to protect the existing members from spammers and other malicious accounts.
WHEN REGISTERING, PLEASE FILL OUT THE INFORMATION REQUESTED OR YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE REJECTED!
Thanks,

I will echo what Robert said. He is right on target in that a lot of approval depends on how much and what answers you put in. Now having added to Robert's post I will also say to existing members to pass this on to anyone you hear wanting to join.

Thanks Robert and Chuck for guarding the door.

And once you are a member you should help this site grow by posting questions, answers, opinions and in helping fund it as well. Robert foots the bills here and I’m sure it is not getting any less expensive to run this site, so let’s see some more Charter Memberships out there!
