Greg, I am interested in alternative mounting for the transom 360.

On HB website, I see this (PORT-360BKT Portable Mounting Bracket f/360 Imaging - 740140-1)
but there is no picture.
The picture on all the dealer web pages appears to be wrong.

Wondering if you could get more info on this.
Thanks,
Bob

More information such as an install guide (has drawings of bracket)?
I haven't seen one myself but will that work for you Bob B?

That's a pretty cool looking bracket ...

Reminds me of "The Edge" side pulling trolling motor bracket.

Too bad you don’t have the 360 Trolling Motor version, Rickie could possibly help you with a deployment system for it.

Bob... It looks like this bracket would work at the bow...

Depending on your gunnel type...the bracket may clamp right to it...

Or have an aluminum block (sort of a mini transom shape) welded (or bolted if your boat is glass) to the gunnel that the bracket would clamp to...

It looks like the transom 360 on this bracket would fold backward 90° and lay on the boat deck...

Rickie....I'm still keeping your solution in mind....gonna be a while yet before I do anything....I am just looking for all possible options.
I like the idea of rotating it once and then be able to have control of the extend and retract.

I am looking at some other options that would give me automatic deployment....maybe even set up a linear actuator to attach the 360 bow transducer to.

Bob, my biggest want for the TM360 mounted with a Terrova is the ability to put it out in front of the trolling motor.  Right now, mine is off to the side of the boat and it limits how deep I can set my TM without getting a shadow.

Thanks for the feedback.....I am all over the place right now with my thinking.....I might even decide to just put one on the transom.......I am just thinking it would better up front and no obstructions to seeing ahead......but it is also nice to have the ability to deploy it to scan without going up front to drop it down.

Now that I keep it on all the time, getting up and deploying it hasn't been a bother.  When I first started using it, I was a little nervous about it running while going up and down the lake. I would stop pinging every time I pulled it from the water.

For some reason on my boat, if #1 unit's screen is not on 360 and i start pinging with #2 unit. If I try to go to the 360 screen with the #1 unit, it will reboot.  If I put both units on 360 screen and then start pinging, all is fine.  I'm hoping the new version of software remedies this.
