Hi Martin,
I went to review my recording from today and yesterday and some of them produce an Illegal data error :(
I am able to view these same recordings in Yellowfin and SIView (after converting to the right format).
Is there anything I can do?

Hello John,
I can't help you with your problem. Just wondering if you are happy with your 798cx are you having problems with the screen going black after you hit 20ft water. I have just purchased the 798cxi si but have not had a chance to use it yet. All I have read lately is doom & gloom. Hoping you can shed some light on this subject.

I haven't used mine in a lot of deep water yet but I did go over a 30 foot hole on the weekend and the image was displayed no problems.

Hi John
It was a guard that I added to the program after I received some recordings were one of the recording files only contained a few records. This made the program freeze.
But I have later found out that it is actually quite normal that there is some difference in the number of records, so I have changed the limit for accepting the recording files. Also I have changed the program so the dialog that is shown is just a warning. So when I release the next version this problem should be solved.

Hi Martin!
Tack för ett förträffligt program! (Thanks for an excellent program). However, my Humviewer refuse to start after I aborted (closed the program) before it had finished loading a very long file. I'm not sure if I have installed the program correctly, there is no icon and the program is not listed in "all programs" so I have to go to the HumViewer catalog and click the executable Jar-file. When I load the runHumviewer command file a DOS-window is displayed and the first row reads: "Fatal error, premature end of file". These are the clues I have. I have Vista Home. I have restarted the system. Version is 1.001
Added: I accidentally ran an older version. The latest version works alright! Sorry for any trouble!
Regards from Uppsala

Hello Martin
I likewise ran into the same problem, whenever I try to load a file larger than a few seconds, I get a error message "illegal data" associated with two different time stamps within the file. This error message repeats 4 times and while the first number is consistent, the second number is always slightly less and varies across each of the four errors messages.
I was wondering when you might have the next version ready? I really look forward to using your software.
Best regards
Crispen

Initially I had this problem and removed Humviewer and reinstalled Humviewer and everything works fine.
