Hi Joel

If the HD is really defective, the license is lost. >:(
Otherwise, install old HD into the new notebook, enter license back.
Then install on new HD DrDepth and unlock as usual.
But this only works if the return function of DrDepth is still supported.

Isn't the DrDepth license tied to the MAC adress of the network card of the computer.
If you change the board, you are stuck.

Keep an eye on the Reefmaster software. Dr Depth is pretty dead right now!

HI Joel,

a friend of mine had a quite similar problem a few weeks ago.
His laptop has been stolen in his fishing store during a burglary.
We wrote a short e-mail to the Dr. Depth support (connected to Johnson Outdoors meanwhile) and we got quite quick feedback:
They reset the license on the server and locked it out, so it was possible to registrate dr. depth again.

Give it a try, very good chance to get your 2nd license "back".

Best regards,
Matthias

OK, I had a computer virus and it wiped out one of my user files and since then my Dr Depth does not work on my desktop or my laptop.  Does anyone have the Dr Depth support address.  I guess I need to have them reset something.   Every time I try and start the program It asks for my E-Mail and license code.  After I put this info in it goes back to the same screen.

Thanks,
Phil

Got it going again.  I sent an E-Mail this morning to " info@drdepth2.se"  and I got a response with in minutes.   The problem ended up being on my end.  I was using a Zero instead of a o in my License code.   After that was figured out I was able to get everything working again.   I really appreciate the great support that I received and I think the program is great.   I am looking forward to see how Johnson Motors improves the program even more.

Thanks again Rüdiger for your help.
