Boone Lake, TN Stripers vs. Shad
« on: May 29, 2009, 08:53:58 AM »
This is one of those cool shots that you really had to be there to appreciate. We were fishing some known structure for bass when we came upon a bunch of stripers absolutely mauling the shad. You can see huge schools of shad throughout the picture and stripers everywhere. One of my favorite "action photos" Enjoy.

That is a pretty cool image!  Almost ghost like!  What freq? 800 or 455?

This would be a good one to post in the Image Gallery.  You can post it in the Categorized Picts or start your own Personal Gallery.

Thanks for sharing,

Alot of sonar intrepertation is having been there done that.  (Knowing what is under the beam.)  One good piece of this forum is the pictures that can be posted of sonar shots. (snapshots)  then an explanation of the picture.  this is where the learning curve is lowered for new folks.  You will find many piecres of pictures in the gallery.  And if you post a snapshot, chances are someone can tell you what the picture is telling you.   chuck
