Randy,
could you post a picture seen from behind with the outdrive down? I wonder how far you're away from the prop and how much side stand off is.
the bracket looks interesting. Where's this from?

The Name is Bobby,

The Bracket is custom made by a friend of mine named Scap(uk--english name I  think--he definitely  has the accent).  You can find his handwork here

http://www.transducershieldandsaver.com/home/

Here is a photo from behind --which really doesn't show much except the mount coming flush with the base of the Jackplate.

This guys Specializes in working with Custom Brackets for Jackplates for the HB units like the SI unit.  Ths is placed below the sponsons  and the jackplate is a 9"setback plate.  But This is 95% of the time where we place them on Bass Boats and it protects and "saves" that Tranducer from being hit my trees and rock.

Hope you like it and if you need anything --just askmy buddy to make it for you.

Bobby

oh and then of course i am going to run my XP 9 20 in hull shoot thru ducer here inside the boat in the bilge pump area--this is a Test spot here with it in place(just not glued down yet--as i have not tested the run on this spot--need to do a little sanding first)

XP 9 20 --Favorable spot for this ducer and run both ducers off of a (AS SIDB Y (y cable)).  For high Speed Travel --no need for a switch either as this cable takes the 2-d portion away from the SI unit.

Hope this helps
