Title: 800 series with si...help...
Post by: puma1 on April 13, 2011, 12:10:53 AM
I have been a lowrance guy for 20 years so I need some help....
1.when I am in the traditional down imaging there is a bar at the top of the screen about 1 inch wide and the bottom is taking up about 70 percent of the screen leaving very little view of the structure...I am sure that there is a setting problem.help.
2.when you are in the traditional down imaging mode what key do you touch to go to the sd map mode?
3.How do you zoom in during down imaging
thanks for your help

1.  That “bar” may be surface clutter or perhaps some sort of reflected sonar from something to the left or right of the HDSi transducer.  Can you post a screen snapshot of what you are seeing as well as one of the Si sonar with the Si Range set to 20 feet?

You can use the Upper Range and Lower Range menus in the Down Imaging View to show the area that you are wanting.

2.  You can use either the VIEW or EXIT buttons to scroll through the viewable Views (Views or “screens” can be hidden and will not be shown).  If you want one of the three View Preset Keys for this than you will have to set it up.

3.  Move the cursor and press the “+” button.
