What open source app is it?
You could convert acu to csv (lat, lon, depth).

We put recorded files of lowrance into reefmaster and then output a mbt file to locus map or other android app. But at the moment we aren't able to convert my acu files to import files into reefmaster. Have you got some instructions about this conversion ?

Where we could try to find your app? Is it for free or you sell in?

only option i can think of is you could convert acu file to acd ( but you import into your Autocharts) and then convert line to track  to make .HT i think reefmaster will accept theses files
