Title: Autochart pro and Autochart live
Post by: newkid4si on April 18, 2020, 10:07:39 PM
For those who have used Autochart pro and Autochart live, do you prefer one over the other. Which would be better if you wanted to keep copies of the maps?

    Thanks in advance,

Autochart autochart live with a zero line card is by far the simplest method. Autochart Pro is an awesome software and can be overwhelming at the same time. What kind of mapping are you planning on doing? And what I mean by that question is do you have a small Lake that there is no map and you want to map it yourself or are you wanting to really Define your data such as labeling waypoint's and so on.

Thank you for your reply.  I have a local lake that is charted on a Navionics chart at a non HD level.  I know of areas that often produce fish, that I would like a more detailed map of.

After much consideration, I've come up with the obvious answer.  Do both, then decide for myself.  Now I have to buy another unit with Autochart live on it. If I keep this up my boat will look like Rickie's.  JK.
