Title: 797c2 si registered user change?

Bought a used 797c2 si and obviously when I power it up it displays the previous owner's name.  Is there any way to change this?  Thanks

Took me a little longer to get around to it, but worked great!  Will this work for my 997csi also?  Thanks again!  Tom

You could or you could just use the HumminbirdPC program:
1. Insert the SD card into your computer’s SD card reader.
2. Start up HumminbirdPC.
3. Select the SD memory card icon on the left side of the screen.
4. Select the Green button with the “A b C” on it.
5. Type in your preferred text in the allowed areas.
6. Press the “Save” button.
7. Disconnect the SD card from your computer.
8. Install the SD card into your Humminbird unit.
9. Power on your Humminbird unit and it should automatically load the profile data changes.
