998 sd card slot

The right side card slot won't seat the card, it will not stay down. Is there any fix to this? Thanks in advance for any help.

There was an early issue with the 998 that closing the SD Card slot door itself would occasionally pop the SD Card out of its slot  ...

Is this your issue or will the SD Card not stay seated even with the SD Card slot door open  ... ??

Have you tried a different SD Card to verify it is something inside the slot causing the issue  ...??

998 is no longer on the HB service list  ...

Yes, I have tried several cards. I know 998 is not supported by Humminbird now. So called Legacy unit.
