Does Humminbird PC Support Solix Yet?

I am thinking of upgrading my old 998 to a Solix.  However, I LIVE by Humminbird PC.  I have years of trips archived by date with tracks and the waypoints that were fished. I use it to edit my new waypoints after each trip, change icons, and remove older unused numbers.  I use the link to Google earth to plan trips as well. But I have heard that Humminbird PC only partially supports the Solix units.  Is that still the case?

Are the newest Helix units fully supported as well as the legacy units?

Well, that rules out the Solix for me. 

I use Humminbird PC to edit my icons and waypoints after almost every trip. Then I clear all waypoints, tracks, and routes on the head unit and reload them from an SD card.

It's a shame after all this time that they haven't upgraded the waypoint management software to fully support the Solix.

I use HBPC on my Onix and as others have mentioned some of the icons aren't compatible. The bigger issue is when you open an Onix GPX file in HBPC the date and time stamps are missing. You can see them in an editor, but not in HBPC. My workaround is to open the GPX file, then write it to an SD card, and then download the data back from the card. Now the date and time stamps are there, but they are stamped with the date/time that you uploaded the data to the card. You could probably edit the original GPX file but I haven't taken the time to attempt it yet. Definitely a few more steps but worth it for me. A little more pertinent information; I have my master GPX file with the correct date/time stamps. When I get home from the lake I open the Onix GPX file. Then I make a new file and copy the new waypoints (with no date/time stamp) into it. I then rename the waypoints and upload them to the SD card. I download the corrected data from the SD card and copy the new waypoints to my master GPX file. I then copy the now updated GPX file onto the root directory of the Onix's SD card to upload the next trip out. So yes, definitely was much easier on the lower model units, but not all is lost! Rick
