Topic: interferance?

I know there has been tons of talk about interferance but i need some opinions. After grounding my 597cidi to the skeg of my terrova and using a dedicated battery everything worked well. In the offseason i rerouted the transducer cable thru the troller cable and down the shaft of the motor per specs. Now when i hit the thruster my range on the 597 goes crazy. Any thoughts?
