899 switcher
« on: February 01, 2015, 11:46:47 AM »
Apparently I am going to have to put a switcher on my 899 so I can use it while running. My SI works when not running but everything goes away otherwise. I will probably get a thru hull transducer for this. I am looking for suggestions and comments about this. Best switcher..functionality...cost..install pain...etc. Thanks

AS SIDB Y cable

Installation ...

This setup installation is not a "switcher" ...

The AS SIDB Y cable disconnects the wiring channel going to the 2d piezo of the HDSI xducer ... And instead wires in the wiring channel going to the shoot thru XP 9 20 ...

This is a very common installation setup for fiberglass boats ...
