Hello..
After 1 month I went to my boat... (My boat is in the sea and also transducer is submerged into watter)...
I noticed that something is not working well..

Classic sonar view  gives me strange image (like there is no enough power ?!)

After 3-4 hours on the sea also the side scan wan't to work well..

The questio is why  is this happening?

1.) Bad battery power (I know that my battery is not ok.. I must change it with new one because it was not full filed for more than one year and also if I turn off the engine the voltage come down from 13.4V to 11V very quick)..
The 14-15V as you can see from picture is from my Yamaha F-80 engine..

2.) Transducer problem? (is there a possibility that watter enter into the transducer?). Is there a way to chek up the transducer with some instrument? (ohm mether)

Here are some screen shoot-s (I have cheked the transducer so its in the line with the boat hull)

also the recorder log is "strange"...

Power supply problems (battery, wires, connections, etc)...are probably the number #1 cause of most unit problems...

We've seen some very strange anomolies that are rectified simply by fixing the power supply in 1 way or another...

I would suggest to 1st get that battery issue resolved and then retest and repost here for diagnosis...

I would also clean the outside of the transducer well.
You could have stuff clinging to it.

I have done it today before I went out with the boat....

Today I was on my boat with full filed accu 12.4V 70Ah..
I have directly connected my humminbird device to + and -
The problem is the same...
(dept is about 5-6 feet) the sonar shows me random depth between 600-100 feet's...
I can hear "tik-tik-tik-tik"  of the transducer which is mounted on the boat....

Also I can easly start up my F-80 engine..

Here are some photos... (depth indicator is flashing)

This image is taken when the engine (yamaha f-80 was running)..
