Title: Side Imaging distortion on one side

I have a Helix 7 with the transducer mounted on the right side of the transom.  It seems to work fine in shallow water, but when I get 20 feet or deeper, I sometimes get distortion on the right side.  The pictures below show the distortion while trolling, and while drifting with the motor off.  The unit is connected to a separate battery.  Any ideas what would cause this?

That looks like a defective xducer issue  ...

Try Restore Defaults under the Setup tab  ...

Cross-testing your head unit on another xducer or another head unit on your xducer is a good troubleshooting step  ...
