What are the best setting for salt water salt shallow or deep when in 78 feet with range set to 160 feet of water on sandy bottom
tgv on or off? contrast 12?

This question comes up quite often.  I use my 997c exclusively in Salt Water from 15'-100'.

the normal depth is 80 feet  do you set the salt water to shallow or deep? ie what depth do you change from shallow to deep?
