Title: Getting waypoints with no gps

I have an issue with my 997 that it will no longer see the gps receiver. I think it's time to call time on the unit and update. So here's the issue.

Because the unit can't see the receiver i cannot navigate to the nav menu in order to save my waypoints to the sd card to be transferred to a new unit. Is there a solution to this issue,. How can i get at my waypoints?

You might be able to get them in simulator mode.
