Title: Humminbird xth 9 20 with Simrad go9 ex
Post by: Mdefelice0718 on April 19, 2017, 09:47:31 PM
Hello all,  Looking for some help.  I was wondering if it is possible to utilize the xth 9 20 transducer with a Simrad GO9 ex Chartplotter unit.  I recently bought a boat with the XTH I do not want to replace the unit but want to mate it with a Simrad Chartplotter (with radar).  Too much invested in the Simrad to change it out.

Any advice, any experience?

Thanks for the help.
Matt

The XTH 9 20 is dual beam 200kHz/83kHz  ...

If the Simrad transmits those frequencies it should work  ...

There is no adapter cable I know of from HB to Simrad so you would have to cut the HB connector off and splice on a Simrad connector  ...
