hello guys ,i am looking at a onix 8SI on e-bay that is a US model to use in canada .what is the differences between a us unit and a canadian one ? thanks

The U.S. model shows the structure much larger than it is, like it's compensating for something.

The Canadian model feels much more guilt when it stops working.

You should check if you buy a model with the right system for you.
US models usually use imperial  instead of the metric system. (depth in feet instead of metres etc.)
