I only get still shots when viewing on my pc.they play back on the hb unit just fine but only stills when i download them with the son2xtf and SIView

Can you post some pictures of the images you are talking about.

SIView basically shows the entire recording as a series of still images.  The only PC programs that will playback the files are YellowFin and HumViewer.
