Title: XHS 9 hdsi 180 t transducer

I have a new 998 c SI and I'm looking to purchase a new transducer which transducer would be best for trolling motor mount XHS or XTM

The XTM has the trolling motor mount. Internally they are the same..

Some like using the standard transom mount transducer along with an aftermarket adapter bracket as these help shield the transducer from damage during use.  The Humminbird adapter offers no protection for the transducer.
