Title: Re:998c SI, SD slot's ?
Post by: AnglerDon on July 16, 2010, 05:49:35 PM
I was using my 998c SI and wanted  to use two recordable sd cards in it at once but found it would only record on the one and just had a Profie on the other card (Which wouldn't except any other recording files even if I switch slots) There is no maps available where I fish and thought it would be great to use both for recording.
So should I just put one card in at a time until it's full and then put the other card in that  slot?

Lot's more questions but I'll only ask one at a time.

Been reading and learning lots

Don,

That's what I would do.  Always good to keep a spare around.  I learned this the hard way when out running sonar in a drowning victim search.  The card I brought along ended up being corrupted and had no spare.

I know Chuck(sonar2000) is reading this and shaking his head at me and saying I should ave known better!

Good Luck,

Robert

Thanks, I'm now also going to make sure my cards are wiped clean before I go out.
