Title: Can a 598SI and a 561 share the ducer?
Post by: Kokanee on March 16, 2013, 08:15:35 PM
Just moved up to a 598SI and would like to have my 561 on, also. To avoid cross-talking with two ducers in the water (XNT-9-SI-180-T and an XNT-9-20-T), is there a splitter cable so the 561 can use the 20/60 dual cone signal off the XNT-9-SI-180-T? That way the 598 could be full screen SI and the 561 would be Switchfire.

No, there is no splitter cable that allows two sonar units to use one transducer at the same time.  The best you could do would be to install a Unit Switch and select which unit would be using the XNT-9-Si-180-T transducer, but only one would be able to use it at a time.
