6.180 Update
« on: April 22, 2012, 06:18:35 PM »
I recently updated by 958c to version 6.180 and ever since, my GPS stopped working.

On the GPS Diagnostic view, the screen flashes and it drops all of the satellites and then it blinks again and it locks on a signal. It does this in sequence.

Anyone have this issue with the new update? Is there any chance I can remove the update? Thanks

Yes , there are update concerns.
Yes, you can download a previous update code from the forum site here under downloads and select your unit and then the code level and then install..
Do you have any thing else connected to the 958?
Did you do a restore defaults prior to the update and after the update?
If you downgrade remember to do the restores prior and after also..
