Title: Navigating to waypoints while side imaging? Faster way to find waypoints by nam
Post by: Jolly Man on April 04, 2010, 07:20:54 AM
Hello All,
I made my maiden voyage using my 798ci I found a ledge that I didnt know was there then proceeded to do a figure 8 with my anchor - had to run home and get tanks to retreive anchor what fun.  How do I get my distance / bearing to appear on a side image view?  Surely there has to be a better way to go to a waypoint ie. Franklin County Reef other than by scrolling through the 300+ waypoints prior to Franklin County Reef.  Please advise. :P

Hello Jolly Man and welcome to the forum!

Well, we are all waiting for the announced new waypoint management from Humminbird (I think that is still to come...).

As for the moment I suggest you either sort your waypoints by name or by symbol.

Regards from the other Jolly Man  ;)
