Topic: 1159 and 360

Just purchased a new bow mount 360 and now looking for a 1198 for the front. It says on the box of the 360 that a 1159ci will work with 360, but the HB web site says the 1159 is NOT compatible with 360. Whats the deal. If it will work, will the 360 plug directly into the back of the 1159 or do you need a ethernet switch?Thanks in advance for any help!

There is or will be an update which allows some non SI units to share with  SI units. It may fix that issue for you. I would call HB support to clarify.

I think you need to call HB customer service.  I remember seeing some posts a while back about some compatibility being misprinted on the box.

The new software rev is supposed to allow for transducer sharing with a Si unit....not sure about the 360.

I think someone jumped the gun on the box printing.  Plans are for software to be released so that the 1159ci HD units can use the 360 Imaging accessory but I do not know when that will be.
