Tazzy,

Welcome to the forum and great looking images.  Not bad for having your unit only two days!

Keep up the good work and let us know if you have any questions!

Welcome to the forum. Pics look great. You can see the shadows thatwill indicate the hight off the bottom the objects are. One rule of thumb to get the clearest shots is to keep your side distance to 3 times the depth. Say the water is 40 feet put the distance right and left to 120 feet. Your interpritation of what the screen is showing you will improve with use. That's what I have found. There is a learning curve . The forum past and present posts will help you speed up that learning curve. Feel free to ask questions. Were here to help. Another thought, keep your speed consistant. Noticed it varied in your screen shots.

I would set your side imaging sensitivity to 12. What you have looks great.

You might experiment with turning your chart speed down...

I got these pics at 1 mph with a chart speed of 1...

If you have recorded the scan you can always send the recording to one of us to look at on a viewer.  Sometimes we can be more helpful with the record.  Chuck (sonar2000)
