798 HD SI DUAL SETUP
« on: February 05, 2011, 10:43:51 PM »
One of the possibilities I am considering is mounting a 798 HD SI on a ram mount at the console and at this time I can only afford one head unit.  I understand that I need to mount the SI transducer to the jack plate and a 2d transducer in the bilge for high speed 2s sonar and a “Y” cable for just the console configuration.
What would I need to order for an extra setup to set this unit up to move it to the bow on the trolling motor? I would like DI an 2d sonar at the minimum there.

That depends on what you want to do for the transducer: mount a second CSi transducer on the trolling motor or use the ones you already have on the transom (and inside-the-hull)?

For both you will need:
PC-11 Power Cable
MS-M Quick Disconnect Mount

To install a second CSi transducer you will need the XTM-9-Si-180-T transducer.
To use the transducers you have you need a Unit Switch US2-W.
