Title: How do you save backlight level to last setting and not 10 on startup?
Post by: Ronquest on August 23, 2015, 11:03:12 AM
I fish at night and have to restart my 1100 and 900 a few times throughout the evening.  I set the light levels at about 2, and when I restart them they default to 10 (blindingly :o bright at night).  My preset keys also reset????  I spend more time resetting everything than fishing.

Is there a fix for this or am I missing something?  I would think this would be a saved setting.

Thanks, Ron

The backlight setting cannot be saved between power cycles (that I know of) ...

The preset keys should retain ... I'm not sure why they wouldn't in your issue ...

You might try Restore Defaults under the setup tab and retest setting and saving the preset keys again ...

It's been my experience that the preset keys stay put from the
very first time you set them.
Are you holding each one down long enough to hear the beep, that tells you
they are permanently set?
