Your install appears off to a good start. Your next step is to see what your on the water results are. One common adjustment that you may
need will be to lower the back of the transducer about 1/4". This often will improve 2D readings at higher speed. Test first. It may be OK where you are.

I bought the transducer saver spring back bracket which gives it no movement to tilt up or down just wondering if it was built to where it don't have that adjustment just wondering if anyone else had this bracket and how they set it up i guess only a water test will show ...and using the level is that the correct way to set it up ...Thanks to all replays I'm new here

Do you have the SBB-4 spring back bracket?
-
yes and there is a block that you use to keep the transducer from moving

I just looked over the install instructions and can't see how to make the adjustment you need. Try calling Transducer Shield & Saver.
I've had good results working with them. Good luck.

I didn’t see any install directions but it looks to me like you would install the block after you get your transducer mounted and tested. That way you will the transducer at the angle you need before installing the block and locking it in place.

What transducer is that? Your profile says 899 hd si. Question is about DI. Looks like HDSI ducer. This has a 5 degree adjustment. Unfortunately it is Big $$
