998C HD SI COMBO and PDF files

Quick question

Have a  998C HD SI COMBO, will it read PDF files?

Not that I am aware of ..... it would be nice if they did that so updated manuals could be displayed on the unit.
**Looking for the one that makes it all worthwhile**

The unit creates a .png file and an associated .DAT file with each screenshot taken on the unit ...

The .png file can be opened and viewed on most any PC or Mac machine ...

The associated .DAT file does not have to be with the .png file to view the screenshot on the PC or Mac machine ... But the the .DAT file has to be with the .png file (in a SNAPSHOT folder on the SD Card) for the unit to be able to display the screenshot ...

I know of no way to create this associated .DAT file except by capturing a screenshot (of the present displayed imaged) on the core HB unit itself ...
