transducer location

where would you all suggest to mount my 898 si transducer on my 99 bass tracker pt175?
also the best place to mount the gps puck does it have to be elevated or will it be ok to mount it flush on the rear of the boat? thanks Jason

For the GPS puck mount it where it will "see" the sky at all times.
Try not to have anything block its vision.
Also remember the gps and the sonar transducer should be in proximity so that location is accurate for the target.
Transducer location is boat sensitive and you can wait for another reply or search this forum using the search tab or visit the gallery for other pictures...
