What am I dong wrong? I have a 859ci DI and a 899ci DI SI on my boat. Bought a couple of PNY 4GB SD cards and labeled them per unit. Went to MYHUMMINBIRD.COM, brought up my info on each unit and downloaded the info to the proper card (I did format the SD cards on my computer prior to this). Went to my boat and turned on the 859 unit. After power up I "Restored Defaults" then turned the unit off. I then re-powered the unit, went thru all the start-up and when the warning page came up I pressed the exit nutton anbd the unit went to the 1st display. I then inserted the proper card for the unit and NOTHING. I waited several minutes and then turned the unit off. I then went thru the process and, again, NOTHING. I had printed out the "HOW TOO" instructions (just in case) but I don't see what I did wrong. I haven't tried anything with the 899 unit, yet, so I don't know if that card will work or not. Please advise.

Make sure you are inserting the SD Card with the correct model versions ...
The 899 and 859 take different software versions ...and one model will not recognize a version different from what is needed ...
If this is not the issue ...you may try a different brand SD Card ...
Humminbird recommends the Sandisk brand SD or SDHC (not the SDXC) ...
You already have shown good practice by formatting each card and Restore Defaults before (and after) updating ...
