Opinion: is the HB 360 transom mount salt worthy?

Would like to hear how long some of you saltwater guys have been operating with them.
I'm considering putting one on a brand new bay boat this week.I am leery that the mechanics that raise the unit up and down and around and around will corrode and become unserviceable. It would sure eaze my mind if it had a rinsing port similar to the Minn Kota talon...
