Helix 12 2D issue
« on: October 20, 2016, 06:13:43 PM »
First , I must say these are awesome units,  I have an issue with mine SI unit when it is in 2D mode on any screen.  I get a wide band of very hard color that reads from the surface down to about 5'  , I have tried many various settings and cannot seem to resolve the issue.  Any thoughts?  Thanks

Have you tried switchfire clear mode?

Surface clutter is another adjustment that can be made ..... be aware that the smaller the number .... the greater the suppression of surface clutter.  I think of it as the number represents the amount of surface clutter allowed.

2D sensitivity will affect this also, and it will also be more apparent when in 200/83 mode.
**Looking for the one that makes it all worthwhile**
