interlinked 798ci and 778c help

Is there a way I can turn off the sonar depth for the 778c and have the 778c just show the 798ci depth?
Trying to turn off display readout #0.

I am trying to remove the trolling motor transducer so I don't have that transducer cable to mess with when moving the trolling motor.
