Trolling Motor SI Transducer Mount
« on: December 28, 2010, 10:26:57 PM »
Hi. I am wondering whether the Terrova TM shaft will fit on the V2  TM. Thinking that maybe this has been done before.  The IPilot TM moves quite a bit and there is really no good way to route the TM cable that i can think of.  I would like to run it thru the shaft but dont want to jeopardize the integrity of the shaft.
Any ideas?  I thought about "standing" the cable off a bit to keep from abraiding it when the TM does its anchor maneuver.(it moves back and forth quote a bit) thanks in advance.

I'm looking for the same answer. I'm looking at buying the 898c SI for the bow and the Minn Kota Terrova w/ Ipilot. I have the 998c SI at the helm now and love it!  I called Minn Kota to ask about which model # I would need and she told me to wait till Feb. They are having a sale. Just some info if anybody is looking at the Terrova.
I'M HAVING TO COCK MY HEAD SIDEWAYS TO GET USED TO THIS SIDE IMAGING!
