Title: adding to a new project / Map
Post by: slabbacks on January 08, 2014, 06:25:28 PM
First off..WOW!  RM will definitely keep me on the water for some time to come.

I made several tracks in a small area last week and  started a new project for this lake.  I plan on going out again end of this week.  When I bring the new date in and import the info for the tracks should I  just add these to the project or is it best to view each one to take out bad depth points then add them?

Are guys collecting all your date for the your project first and then making a Map or do you add to the Map each time you bring in new tracks and add them to the project?

Hi Slabbacks - sorry for the late reply, most RM talk now takes place on our dedicated forum here (http://reefmaster.com.au/index.php/forum/index), so please do drop in. We went over to our own forum because we have so many Lowrance users now, it didn't make sense to stay on a dedicated HB forum.
In answer to your question - just go ahead and add tracks to your project as you record them. Any editing of the track (eg to remove bad depths) will be reflected in the project, so you don't need to do things in a specific order. You might find that bad depths get averaged out anyway in the project.
