Title: whats causing the black lines?

just bought a new 898. whats causing the black lines on the left side.
are they shadows of structure? do i just need to adjust things?

Hi mivison,

I think it looks like shadows of structure. Something skinny and vertical, causing long shadows.

Figuring the transducer is on the right side of the motor, is it possible that you are getting some strange behavior because the motor is not trimmed up enough?

Looking closely at the picture it does appear to be shadows from a small skinny target.  This does not look like interference..

Eat at Ralph's or what ever that little restaurant is just up the street from you..
that will make fatter trees,,,,
