Post by: abraquelebout on January 03, 2011, 11:53:23 AM
my new towfish !!!

you can take out the lest (an aluminium pipe ful of lead) then 1,05 m
it goes on car, there's plug for additional lest,or wing or depressor
6 kg for fresh water, and i hope 15 kg for more depht in salt water
i take out over bridge to see if there's problem of stability,it's good
i want to go on river this week end ,and i must make difference.
i want to compare my anciant towfish with 6 m tranducer origin cable
an this with 60 m .

Nice fish abraquelebout, hopefully you will get as good picture as your ancient fish. I think it might will be time for me to post some pictures on my/our fish, in another thread of course.

Nice work Abra, congratulations!

I'm still undecided how to build my new fish. For sure it will be made of plastic. But I will wait until you post your results.

Good luck and best wishes
Harry

Sweet fish Abra!

It sure looks like it will work just fine. No snow on the ground, what season do you have now!? Here we use icebreakers when we scan  :)

Abra,

That is a great fish. Are you using materials that you have lying around? It would seem most of us build with whatever we have to hand, rather than choosing a particular material.
