Title: 1198 How can you tell how far you travelled with the 1198. How to set the mileag

I have a 1198 and would like to know how you can tell how far you travelled in a day on the 1198. How do you set the mileage.

Go to the Setup menu tab.
Go to the TripLog Reset menu and activate it by using the Right Arrow key.
You will also have to Confirm this by using the Right Arrow key again.
Get back to the Setup menus and scroll down until you find the Select Readouts menu and set one of these to display the Triplog digital data.

Once you have reset the TripLog the distance shown will be how far the unit has moved (while on and tracking GPS satellites) since it was last reset.  This will incluse any movement whether it be by trolling motor, main motor or on the trailer.
